A Guide on Search Engines Hello and welcome. My name is Jane, and I'm reporting to you live from Hollywood. I am sporting a lovely plum-colored sequence dress compliments of Bergdorf, and the jewelry I am seen wearing are from Tiffany & Co. Well ladies and gentlemen, enough about my lovely attire. The moment we've all been waiting for has come. Finally, movie critics from around the United States have gathered to criticize or glorify the upcoming movie, Search Engines. With the success this movie is supposed to receive, sequels are already being talked about. These types of movies cost millions of dollars every year to produce and maintain. As of today, the movie has generated millions of dollars through sponsored advertisements, and the owners of the production companies hope to sell even more ads in the upcoming months. Business in this type of industry is high. Every time you blink, another person is sending in their scripts to the production company, hoping their script gets chosen for review. There was some bribery reported earlier in the week, as top companies pushed their scripts ahead of the average person by paying the reviewers. This brings us back to the time when actual hard copies of encyclopedias competed to be the number one best seller. Since these encyclopedia space taker-uppers are being replaced by the coming of age search engines, competition for the highest grossing movie is becoming dangerously fierce. So much foul play occurs when scripts and company domination are at stake ladies and gentlemen. Today I'm going to interview some of the biggest names in the WWW, or whole wide world. Here with me today is Golden-Globe winner Ask Jeeves. Jeeves can always be picked out of a crowd because he always wears such early 90s clothing attire, including a bow tie and high waters. As you may or may not know, Ask Jeeves won his award through his portrayal of a money-hungry CEO of a top advertising company. He is rated by movie critics as one the top 5 actors in the entire world. His role in Search Engines seems to be unlike any he has ever done before. This is so uncharacteristic of Ask Jeeves because he is so versatile and diverse, seemingly able to conquer and answer to any challenge set before him.

I chose this topic especially for nowadays influence. You can just look around and you will see how everyone is influenced by something. Especially youngsters, they show their life style, favorite music, what kind of fashion they like, basically you can find it out by one view. It doesn’t have to be right though, sometimes people go crazy, they take it more serious, they started to be fanatic. They don’t think by their own wisdom. People get used to be influenced by others, very often it is by someone who you really like. Feelings can do a lot they can force us to do what we would have never done. We become to be â€Å"stupid† we can’t recognize what is right and what is not. But feelings are not only one of dangerous influence it could be a group of people or organization, school, social network. Influence is not that bad in every case, very often is really good for being better. Society is really strong impact. Usually sensible people are more prone to be influenced than stronger people. People with established goals are more powerful, main priorities keep people to follow their own dreams. Karo is a perfect example, her dream was going to Spain, she didn’t care about group called the wave, she cared only about her boyfriend, that’s why she was interested in group’s movement. The opposite of her is Denis, he didn’t have really good family foundations, he didn’t exactly know what he wants to do, so he fell in temptation, he felt like he can be part of something, the wave was really popular there, so it made him powerful. When someone gets power of influence, then can other people make to believe what â€Å"leader† wants them to believe, it’s not only power but it is about getting social position. Social position has important role in influence. Members of group obey the leader, but there is really big risk of being possessed. Mostly it starts with unwritten rule â€Å"who is not going with us is going against us†. Here is the deal, your friends can be one of all members but you are not part of it, do you want to go against your friend? Of course not, so you will join them. You don’t think about it, if it is good or not, it is your friend, many your friends. People are blind when they do what others do. So basically you can succumb the impact whenever. If you want to be a part of group, or you do it for someone who you really love. Or if you just can’t find yourself, you don’t know what you want, you don’t know what your goal is in your life. Only carefulness can save you. Influence is not that innocent how it does look like.

A Contemplation Upon Flowers: In the poem A Contemplation Upon Flowers by Henry King the comparison of the life of a simple flower is made to the life of a human, in the sense that we both are born, we both live, and we both must die. Majority of people fear death, but the flowers accept death with open arms and a smile. This poem by Henry King praises flowers for not only their humble lifestyles but also for their acceptance of death. Henry King uses the literary device of personification, a strong and effective way to give the flowers a voice, and to help the reader grasp and understand the poem.
